O artigo apresenta um estudo envolvendo a planilha na promoção da Literacia Computacional e de conceitos de cálculo numérico. O propósito foi analisar sua relevância na compreensão dos conceitos envolvidos e como a mudança de registros colabora na resolução de uma atividade por estudantes da disciplina de cálculo numérico de uma Instituição de Ensino Superior do Vale do Paranhana, RS. A pesquisa de caráter qualitativo utilizou os Registros de Representação Semiótica de Duval e os conceitos de Literacia Computacional de Baker e Sugden. Perceberam-se avanços na compreensão dos conceitos matemáticos para além do aspecto superficial. A planilha permitiu um processo de conversão mais amplo, explorando uma situação-problema, interpolando-a e tomando decisões com base em estimativas, apesar das dificuldades iniciais enfrentadas na sua utilização.
This paper presents a study involving the spreadsheet in the promotion of computational literacy and in the learning of numerical calculation concepts. The purpose was to analyze the relevance in understanding the concepts involved and how the change of registers collaborates in the resolution of an activity by students of the discipline of numerical calculus of an Institution of Higher Education in Paranhana Valey, RS, Brazil. The qualitative research used Duval's Semiotic Representation Registers and Cano's Computational Literacy concepts. Advances were made in the understanding of mathematical concepts and the resolution of activity when changes occurred, especially between algebraic and graphical representations. The spreadsheet contributed to the development of skills in solving the problem, despite the initial difficulties encountered in its use.
