O presente estudo procura compreender a relação existente entre sexualidade e a religiosidade na relação conjugal de mulheres evangélicas de uma igreja com denominação neopentecostal da zona rural do Município de Lajinha/MG. Observam-se as práticas adotadas pelo grupo através dos comportamentos e normas sociais adotadas a sobre a sexualidade das mulheres rurais e a possível influência da religião na conduta pessoal e íntima de suas adeptas. Trata-se de um estudo de caso realizado com mulheres de idades compreendidas entre 18 e 60 anos. Neste universo, estão envolvidas 211 mulheres que frequentam a igreja, incluindo batizadas, não batizadas e as frequentadoras eventuais. Para a pesquisa, aplicou-se a metodologia qualitativa, momento em que foram feitas observações participantes e entrevistas com um roteiro semiestruturado. As entrevistadas trazem consigo evidências de conflitos e ambiguidades em suas trajetórias sexuais, em que se pode observar a influência de mitos e crenças provenientes de uma rígida educação familiar influenciando fortemente em seu modo de vida atual. Observou-se que a religião atua efetivamente no casamento e na vida conjugal das mulheres. As mulheres têm orientação e auxílio e recorrem à igreja quando se deparam com algum problema familiar importante de difícil resolução para elas, obtendo, na igreja, o alicerce que lhes dá força para enfrentar os dissabores do casamento, como por exemplo, o adultério. Os conceitos de amor e sexo são reelaborados de acordo com a orientações religiosas de forma a ordenar uma identidade que busque traduzir uma personalidade equilibrada e íntegra de acordo com o que preconiza a denominação em estudo.

There is an existing relationship between sexuality and religiosity in the conjugal relationship of evangelical women of a church with neopentecostal denomination rural area of the Municipality of Lajinha / MG. To observe the practices adopted by the group through the behaviors and social norms adopted on the sexuality of the women in the world and the influence of the religion in the personal and intimate conduct of its adherents. This is a case study of women aged between 18 and 60 years. A world that is involved 211 women attending a church, including baptized, unbaptized and as occasional attendees. For an application application, which is quantitative and qualitative, can be consulted and interviewed with a semi-structured script. Interviews can be influenced by conflicts and ambiguities in their ethnic relations, where one can observe the influence of myths and the beliefs attached to conditioned education in their current way of life. Observe the religion and conjugal life of women. Women are guided and helped, and they turn to the church when they encounter some problem that is important for solving problems for them, obtaining in the church the foundation that gives them strength to face the difficulties of marriage, such as adultery . The concepts of love and sex are re-elaborated according to the religious orientations of an identity organization that seeks a balanced and complete understanding according to what a denomination in study advocates.
