DIVERGENCES AND CONVERGENCES BETWEEN MARÍA LUGONES' DECOLONIAL FEMINISM, FEMINIST HISTORIOGRAPHY AND POST-STRUCTURALIST FEMINISM

Nossa intenção é proceder a análise comparativa introdutória de três relevantes abordagens feministas que dividem a cena dos estudos de gênero. Apesar dos riscos, a decisão metodológica foi pela pesquisa teórica (Salvador, 1986; Apple, 1994), cientes de que esta é politicamente informada, na medida em que as teorias revelam interesses de classe, de gênero, de sexualidade, de nação, de raça/etnia, de geração, e são vinculadas a prática social. Para proceder ao estudo, destacamos três aspectos a saber: os pressupostos, a noção de gênero e o compromisso político. Os resultados aos quais chegamos informam sobre a existência de divergências e de convergências entre estas abordagens feministas, confirmando a divergência inconciliável entre historiografia feminista e feminismo pósestruturalista, convergência incoerente entre feminismo pós-estruturalista e feminismo decolonial, e convergência entre historiografia feminista e feminismo decolonial.

Our intention is to carry out an introductory comparative analysis of three relevant feminist approaches that divide the gender studies scene. Despite the risks, the methodological decision was made by theoretical research (Salvador, 1986; Apple, 1994), aware that it is politically informed, as theories reveal interests of class, gender, sexuality, nation, and race/ethnicity, generation, and are linked to social practice. To proceed the study, we highlight three aspects, which are: the assumptions, the notion of gender and the political commitment. The results we have reached inform about the existence of divergences and convergences between these feminist approaches, confirming the irreconcilable divergence between feminist historiography and poststructuralist feminism, inconsistent convergence between poststructuralist feminism and decolonial feminism, and convergence between feminist historiography and decolonial feminism.
