A alimentação nas relações entre ocidente e oriente: Identidade e reflexos da relação entre Portugal e china em Macau

Durante o período das navegações portuguesas, foram observadas trocas e transformações durante as relações entre Ocidente e Oriente. Porém, no encontro com novos povos, as novas identidade étnicas formadas tiveram uma característica bastante diferente no Oriente se a comparação for feita com o Ocidente. Na criação dessas identidades, novas culturas surgiram e refletiram parte dessas identidades na alimentação.
O objetivo deste artigo é entender como a culinária de um local se transforma gradualmente com a ação da sociedade que a habita, e como a identidade e cultura estão em constante processo de mudança, uma vez que, com a globalização, seja ela marcada pelas navegações ou pela internet, cada vez mais diferentes culturas são apresentadas.

During the period of the Portuguese discoveries, exchanges and transformations were observed during the relations between East and West. However, when those new folks met, new ethnic identities were formed and they had different characteristics in West if compared to what happened in the East. In the creation of these identities, new cultures emerged and part of this identities are reflected in feeding.
The purpose of this article is to understand how the local cuisine transforms itself gradually with the society that inhabit and how identity and culture are in the constant process of change, with the globalization, either made by ships or by internet, more new cultures are emerging.
