O presente trabalho visa identificar eventuais consequências no caso de resistência da vítima em face de agressão sexual e aponta a diferença de postura entre vítimas com e sem treinamento prévio em defesa pessoal. Para tanto, foi realizada a revisão bibliográfica de publicações científicas que abordam temas como criminologia e vitimização sexual. Resultados de pesquisas realizadas apontam que ações de resistência da vítima reduzem o risco de consumação do estupro por exigir maior esforço do perpetrador e aumentar o risco de ser descoberto e capturado pela polícia. A revisão da literatura revelou que, em regra, a resistência da vítima não aumentaria o risco de lesões corporais adicionais. A autodefesa e o seu treinamento têm se mostrado eficazes para evitar a consumação do estupro e para a recuperação mais rápida de traumas sofridos.
The present study aims to identify possible consequences in case of resistance of the victim in the face of sexual aggression; and points out the difference in attitude between victims with and without prior training in self-defense. For this purpose, the literature review of foreign scientific publications was carried out, dealing with topics such as criminology and sexual victimization. Research results indicate that victim resistance actions reduce the risk of consummation of rape by requiring greater effort from the perpetrator and increase the risk of being discovered and captured by the police. The bibliographic review revealed that, as a rule, the victim’s resistance would not increase the risk of further bodily injury. Self-defense and its training have proved effective in preventing the consummation of rape and in recovering more quickly from trauma.
