O artigo proposto pretende analisar o uso das sinetas como símbolo de luta dos professores - mais tarde também os funcionários de escola - no Rio Grande do Sul, durante as mobilizações grevistas ocorridas no recorte temporal sugerido. Tal período foi marcado por importantes mobilizações no país e não foi diferente para os educadores sulistas. O objetivo deste texto é problematizar teoricamente o uso de recursos simbólicos no repertório mobilizador de setores da classe trabalhadora e ao mesmo tempo observar o reflexo dos mesmos na imprensa regional.
Resumo Inglês:
The proposed article intends to analyze the use of the bells as a symbol of teachers' struggle - later also school’s employees – at Rio Grande do Sul, during the striking mobilizations that occurred in the suggested temporal clipping. This period was marked by important mobilizations in the country and it was not different for southern educators. The objective of this text is theoretically problematize the use of symbolic resources in the mobilizing repertoire of sectors of the working class and at the same time observe their reflection in the regional press.
