Esta pesquisa, que tem como interesse investigar os saberes docentes diante da problemática dos usos de drogas, surgiu inicialmente pela necessidade da formação continuada dos docentes para intervir na problemática através de uma abordagem pedagógica, investigando-se cientificamente os saberes docentes sobre drogas e sua aplicabilidade no processo ensino e aprendizagem, contribuindo para que os docentes saibam agir de forma preventiva e educativa diante do uso de drogas pelos alunos. O objetivo da investigação foi analisar os saberes docentes para abordar pedagogicamente e de forma preventiva a drogadição, visando ao aperfeiçoamento do processo de ensino e aprendizagem. A análise dos dados apontou que os saberes docentes não devem ser isolados do ensino, do estudo, nem do trabalho realizado diariamente pelo professor; que o professor é modelo de referência para o jovem e deve ter uma postura de vida saudável; que a capacitação de professores permite uma intervenção de forma mais eficaz na problemática, em uma perspectiva realista.

This research has the theme "Knowledge Teachers on Drugs" where the interest in investigating the problem of teacher knowledge on the uses of drugs, initially arose the need of continuous training of teachers to intervene in the issue through a pedagogical approach, by investigating scientifically the faculty knowledge about drugs and their applicability in the teaching and learning by helping teachers to know and act preventively before the educational use of drugs by students. The purpose of this investigation was to address the pedagogical teaching knowledge and preventive drug addiction, aiming at the improvement of teaching and learning. Data analysis showed that teaching knowledge should not be isolated from the teaching, study, or work performed daily by the teacher, the teacher's reference model for the young and must have an attitude of healthy living, the training teachers, allows it to more effectively intervene in the problem in a realistic prospect.
