Investiga-se a relação entre religião e música no Brasil. O problema central é a produção de produtos religiosos, baseados em produtos do mundo profano, secular, não sagrado. Como uma estratégia de expansão do campo religioso, é possível observar o surgimento de quase todos os tipos de músicas, como rock, funk e heavy metal, com um conteúdo religiosos feito para o fiel. Tal estratégia se orienta no sentido de satisfazer as necessidades criadas pelo mundo profano e manter o fiel no mundo sagrado com versões religiosas dos produtos profanos.

This text investigates the relationship between religion and music in Brazil. Its problem is the production of religious products based on the products of the profane, secular, non holy world. As an strategy of expansion of the religious field, it is possible to observe the appearing of almost all kinds of music, like rock, funk and heavy metal, with a religious content made for the believer. The objective of this strategy is to satisfy the needs created by the profane world and to keep the believer in the sacred world with religious versions of the profane products.
