O presente trabalho busca entender como se institui um relacionamento abusivo, e se propõe a problematizar o porquê de
as mulheres serem as principais vítimas desta modalidade de relacionamento. Utilizando-se de alguns conceitos freudianos
e lacanianos foi construído, através de uma revisão bibliográfica, uma teorização sobre o conceito de feminilidade, além de
uma reflexão acerca da devastação que atravessa estes relacionamentos disfuncionais. Por fim, procuramos entender como
a pandemia causada pela COVID-19, bem como o distanciamento social, influenciou nas crescentes denúncias acerca das
violências vividas em um relacionamento abusivo. Entende-se, então, que o sujeito regido pelo inconsciente busca tão somente
a completude daquilo que falta, e ainda, que o Real que a pandemia trouxe a estas mulheres, corrobora com o aumento repentino
das denúncias dos casos de violência doméstica que não foram meramente frutos do acaso, mas da ocorrência da quebra da
fantasia em que elas viviam, fazendo com que o gozo proporcionado pelo sintoma não funcionasse mais.
The present work seeks to understand how an abusive relationship is instituted, and proposes to problematize why women are
the main victims of this type of relationship. Using some Freudian and Lacanian concepts, a theorization about the concept of
femininity was constructed through a bibliographic review, as well as a reflection on the devastation that goes through these
dysfunctional relationships. Finally, we seek to understand how the pandemic caused by COVID-19, as well as social distance,
influenced the growing complaints about the violence experienced in an abusive relationship. It is understood, then, that the
subject governed by the unconscious seeks only the completeness of what is missing, and also, that the Real that the pandemic
brought to these women, corroborates with the sudden increase of the denunciations of the cases of domestic violence that were
not merely an accident, but the occurrence of the break in the fantasy in which she lived, making the enjoyment provided by
the symptom no longer work.
