De natureza qualitativa, a pesquisa possui o objetivo de compreender o que se revela sobre a Teoria dos Registros de Representação Semiótica e atividades de Investigação Matemática, empreendidas e relatadas por professores participantes do PDE. Articulados em três categorias os dados revelaram generalidades sobre os registros semióticos mobilizados; sobre as coordenações das representações dos objetos e sobre a congruência e a não congruência semântica. As atividades desenvolvidas em face das tarefas investigativas se mostraram mais auspiciosas à mobilização da representação dos objetos matemáticos nos diferentes Registros de Representação Semiótica do que as atividades desenvolvidas em face das tarefas exploratórias e; contribuíram para desenvolver a forma operatória e predicativa do conhecimento. Isso sinaliza para o cuidado de não limitar a mobilização de alguns registros em face das tarefas ou da postura do professor em sala de aula.

Of qualitative nature, the research had to understand what is revealed about the Theory of Semiotic Representation Records and Mathematical Research activities, undertaken and reported by teachers participating in the PDE. Articulated in three categories, the data revealed generalities about the mobilized semiotic records; on the representations of object coordinates and on semantic congruence and non-congruence semantics. The activities developed in the face of the investigative tasks were more auspicious to the mobilization of the representation of the mathematical objects in the different Registers of Semiotic Representation than the activities developed in the face of the exploratory tasks; contributed to develop the operative and predicative form of knowledge. This signals to the care not to limit the mobilization of some records before the tasks or the posture of the teacher in the classroom.
