O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar uma breve introdução sobre a análise dos regimes agroalimentares e discutir alguns aspectos nas suas relações com agricultura familiar. O artigo procura situar a discussão sobre a globalização e entender como a agricultura e a produção de alimentos se inseriu neste processo. São apresentados e descritos os três regimes agroalimentares sugeridos na literatura internacional e discute-se as condições e possibilidades da agricultura familiar neste contexto. Por ser um artigo introdutório ao debate dos regimes alimentares, as conclusões indicam para a necessidade de se aprofundar as análises sobre o lugar da agricultura familiar especialmente no que se refere à sua inserção nos regimes agroalimentares globais.
Resumo Inglês:
The purpose of this article is to present a brief introduction to the analysis of agrifood regimes approach and discuss some aspects in relation with family farming. The article seeks to address the discussion on globalization of food and to understand how agriculture and food production are entered in this process. The three food regimes are presented and described as they appear in the international literature and the conditions and possibilities of family farming in this context is discussed. As an introductory article to the discussion of the food regimes, it
concludes by indicating that deepen analysis of the place of family farming, especially with regard to its insertion in the global agrifood regimes, is need and should be carry on by scholars.
