Este estudo teve como objetivo investigar as reações sentidas e percebidas de uma paciente submetida à cirurgia cardíaca de emergência cujo espaço temporal entre o diagnóstico e a realização da cirurgia foi insuficiente para o preparo da rotina pré-operatória. Os dados foram levantados mediante entrevista realizada com a paciente 30 dias após a alta hospitalar, no domicílio. A análise nos conduz a refletir sobre alguns aspectos que precisam ser revistos no processo de cuidar, o respeito aos sentimentos, a privacidade, a atenção às necessidades básicas, conforto e segurança foram os mais citados. No que concerne à visita domiciliar após alta hospitalar, recomenda-se: visite, sempre que for possível, ao paciente que você cuidou.
This study had as objective to investigate the reactions felt and noticed by a patient submitted to an emergency heart surgery, whose time space between the diagnosis and the surgery accomplishment was insufficient for the preoperative routine preparation. The data were collected through an interview accomplished with the patient 30 days after his/her hospital leaving, at home. The analysis let us to contemplate on some aspects that need to be reviewed due to the caring process; the feelings respect , the privacy, the basic needs attention, comfort and safety ware the most mentioned. In what is concerned to the domicile visit after the hospital leaving, it is recommended: to keep visiting , whenever it is possible, the patient that you took care.
