Resumo Inglês:
Social networking sites are usually platforms for online relationships. Postings and sharing are the basis of digital social media, but the reactions to the content published therein support the formation and maintenance of networks. In this aspect, we highlight posts with narcissistic characteristics, since many users use social networks to advertise their talents and achievements with excessive self-esteem. Individuals with these characteristics perceive others as inferior and conflict with those who stand out, for it has to be the center of attention. They believe they are special and unique, and therefore have the right to praise, admiration and applause. However, such postings and interaction provided by sites may provide legal and legal burdens depending on the type of act practiced, especially where there is serious wrongdoing committed. In this context, this study presents a review of the literature as a method to verify the direction of the discussions in these environments, considering the relevance of the multidisciplinary debate, by linking the themes of social psychology, communication and publicity and legal areas.
