RECONSTRUÇÕES DO LABIRINTO EM POEMAS E IMAGENS

O labirinto com seus enigmas e mistérios sempre exerceu fascínio sobre os homens, o que, de certa forma, explica a reincidência do tema nas mais diversas artes ao longo da história. Nesta proposta de cunho comparatista, procuramos ampliar os significados das retomadas desse elemento arquetípico ao estabelecer relações de intertextualidade entre as metáforas e as imagens configuradas na poética de Mario Quintana com outras obras que tratam da mesma temática. Auxiliam as análises, os estudos históricos literários sistematizados por Antonio Candido (1999, 2006), a crítica temática de Bachelard (1990) e os pressupostos sobre a simbologia desenvolvidos por Chevalier e Gheerbrant (1999).

Literatura Comparada, intertextualidade, artes, labirinto, Quintana. Abstract: The labyrinth, with its enigmas and mysteries, has always fascinated men, what in a certain way explains the constant presence of the theme in the most diverse arts along history. In this comparative study, we try to amplify the meanings of the recaptures of this archetypical element, establishing intertextual relations between the metaphors and images configured in Mario Quintana’s poetics with other works that deal with the same theme. The analyses were helped by the historical-literary studies systematized by Antonio Candido (1999, 2006), Bachelard’s thematic critics (1990) and the presuppositions on symbology developed by Chevalier and Gheerbrant (1999).
