Psicologia escolar na educação infantil: atuação e prevenção em saúde mental

A psicologia no contexto escolar sofreu diversas modificações durante sua história.
Compreendida somente como ligada á psicometria, hoje a psicologia escolar vem ao encontro
da política de prevenção em saúde mental. O psicólogo necessita se inserir no contexto e
tornar-se próximo tanto dos profissionais do local como das crianças e de suas famílias. Este
artigo relata uma experiência de estágio em psicologia na educação infantil em uma creche
em Santa Catarina. Com esse relato objetiva-se enriquecer as práticas da psicologia escolar,
especialmente na educação infantil, e transmitir a experiência positiva vivenciada pelas
estagiárias. Os focos de intervenção foram diversos, envolvendo a adaptação dos bebês, a
prontidão para a alfabetização e os grupos com crianças. Além das ações específicas, também
é relatado como foi realizada a inserção no contexto e quais atividades faziam parte da rotina
das estagiárias de psicologia. Durante o período do estágio foi possível perceber que a posição
do estagiário necessita ser rotineira, colocando-se à disposição das necessidades da instituição
e focada na prevenção. As diversas intervenções resultaram em melhoras no relacionamento
da creche-família e contribuíram para explicitar o papel do psicólogo no contexto escolar,
principalmente relacionado à prevenção em saúde mental.

Psychology in the school context has been under several changes during its
history. Understood only as related to psychometrics, educational psychology today is in
favor of the policy of prevention in mental health. The psychologist needs to insert
within and become near both local professionals, and children, and their families. This article
reports an internship in psychology at childhood education in a nursery in Santa Catarina.
With this report aims to enrich the practice of school psychology, especially in early
childhood education and forward positive experience experienced by the trainees.
Focuses intervention were diverse, involving the adaptation of the babies, the readiness
for literacy and groups with children. In addition to specific actions, the insertion in the
context and what activities were parts of routine
of interns in psychology was reported. During the period of probation was possible to
understand that the position of the trainee needs to be routine by placing the provision
of institution's needs and focused on prevention. The various interventions resulted in
improvements in the relationship of family-care center and contributed to clarify the role of
the psychologist in the school context, especially related to prevention in mental health.
