A isoflavona é uma substância encontrada na soja Glycine Max Merr leguminosa com grande produção nacional, de acesso barato a população. A prospecção foi realizada nas bases de dados online do World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), European Patent Office (Espacenet), Derwent Innovations Index e no Banco de dados do Instituto Nacional de Propriedade Industrial (INPI), utilizando as palavras-chave “Glycine Max Merr, Isoflavona, Soja, cruzada com Isoflavona and soja, Isoflavona or soja, Isoflavona and tratamento and câncer, Isoflavona and tratamento and mama, Isoflavona and sublingual, Isoflavona and câncer, Isoflavona and mama, Soja and mama, Soja and sublingual, Soja and câncer, Soja and prevenção and câncer, Soja and prevenção and mama” nas línguas portuguesa e inglesa. Para a pesquisa de artigos científicos foram utilizados os sites SCIELO e SCOPUS, usando a mesma estratégia de busca como critério ambos no período de 1997 a 2017. No INPI encontra-se 2.581 patentes depositadas para as palavras chave pesquisadas, o que representa 0,66% do total de patentes.

Isoflavone is a substance found in soybeans Glycine Max Merr legume with great national production, cheap access to population. The survey was conducted in the online databases of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), European Patent Office (Espacenet), Derwent Innovations Index and the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) database, using the keywords Glycine Max Isoflavone and soy, Isoflavone and soy, Isoflavone and soy, Isoflavone and treatment and cancer, Isoflavone and treatment and breast, Isoflavone and sublingual, Isoflavone and cancer, Isoflavone and breast, Soy and breast, Soy and sublingual, Soya and cancer, soy and prevention and cancer, soy and prevention and breast in the Portuguese and English languages. The SCIELO and SCOPUS sites were used to search for scientific articles, using the same search strategy as criteria both from 1997 to 2017. At INPI there are 2581 patents deposited for the keywords searched, which represents 0,66% of the total patents.
