Este trabalho debruça-se sobre a plataforma de catalogação social de leitura skoob.com.br, sob o viés da sociologia da leitura, e objetiva investigar algumas potencialidades que a configuram como espaço social de acesso à leitura. O referencial teórico envolve as áreas da Leitura, principalmente a partir dos estudos de Ferreira (2004), Neves (2005) e Leyva (2009); da Sociologia da Leitura, com base em Lajolo (2005) e Candido (2006); e da Cibercultura, com Levy (2009). Os resultados obtidos na análise não são definitivos, em função da fluidez dos dados disponíveis e da constante alteração das ferramentas de navegação e interação da plataforma.

This paper focuses on the social cataloging platform of reading skoob. com.br, from the perspective of the sociology of reading, and aims to investigate some potentialities that configure it as a social space of access to reading. The theoretical framework involves the areas of Reading, mainly from the studies of Ferreira (2004), Neves (2005) and Leyva (2009), in the Sociology of Reading, based on Lajolo (2005) and Candido (2006), and in the Cyberculture, with Levy (2009). The results obtained in the analysis are not definitive, due to the fluidity of the available data and the constant change of the navigation and interaction tools of the platform.
