A poesia da relva e o devaneio de uma folha

Este artigo busca evidenciar a importância do texto poético nos processos cognitivos, subjetivos e emocionais do leitor de poesia, tendo como base os conceitos fundamentais da fenomenologia proposta por Gaston Bachelard. Para isso, apresentamos o projeto “Encontros com a Poesia”, vinculado ao Grupo de Pesquisa Estudos Poéticos, e como se dá o processo de pesquisa e elaboração do material utilizado nas atividades; expomos alguns dos principais aspectos estudados no decorrer da leitura da obra-em-progresso Folhas de relva, do poeta norte-americano Walt Whitman; refletimos acerca do principal referencial teórico de nosso grupo de pesquisa e, ao final, incluímos um devaneio poético – texto de caráter pessoal – provocado por alguns poemas do bardo americano ao longo das leituras realizadas, a fim de exemplificar os fenômenos descritos pelo filósofo francês.

This article aims to demonstrate the importance of poetic texts in cognitive, subjective and emotional processes of the poetry reader, based on the fundamental concepts of phenomenology proposed by Gaston Bachelard. In this regard, we present the project "Meetings with Poetry", linked to the Poetic Studies Research Group, and in which way the process of research and preparation of the material used in activities occurs; we expose here some of the main aspects studied during the reading of the lifelong work-in-progress Leaves of grass, of the American poet Walt Whitman; we also reflect about the main theoretical reference of our research group and, at the end, we have included a poetic reverie - text of
personal creation - originated by the reading of some peculiar poems of the American bard, in order to illustrate the phenomena described by the French philosopher.
