A influência da hemodiálise na perda auditiva ainda não é clara, as alterações metabólicas parecem estar associadas. Muitos estudos têm sido realizados no que diz respeito à suscetibilidade das células ciliadas a diversos distúrbios metabólicos, no entanto, a associação entre perda auditiva e insuficiência renal crônica permanece incerta. O objetivo desse estudo foi levantar o perfil audiológico de pacientes portadores de Insuficiência Renal Crônica submetido à hemodiálise, associados ou não a drogas ototóxicas. Participaram desse estudo 35 pacientes no total. Os pacientes foram submetidos aos seguintes exames. Audiometria tonal e Imitanciometria. Neste estudo, a incidência de perda auditiva em pacientes que realizam hemodiálise foi de 71%. Foi encontrada alteração auditiva neurossensorial de grau leve em 19 (27%) das orelhas com alteração e 6 (8.5%) com alteração auditiva neurossensorial de grau moderado. Destas alterações 5 (14%) dos pacientes apresentaram perda unilateral e 10 (29%) perda bilateral. Na pesquisa do Reflexo Acústico Estapediano 10 (29%) pacientes apresentaram ausência na via aferente ipsi e contralateral bilateralmente, 2 (6%) não apresentaram Reflexo Acústico Estapediano na via aferente ipsi e contralateral, exceto em 4KHZ contralateral bilateralmente.

The influence of blood dialyses on hearing loss haven ́t been clear yet, the metabolical alterations seem to be associated. Many studies have been realized concerning on the susceptibility on the hair cell of several metabolical studies, nevertheless, the association between hearing loss and Cronic Kidney Disease auditory go on uncertain. The purpose of this study was to relate an audiological profile of patients with Cronic Kidney Disease submitted of blood dialyses, associated or not with ototoxical drugs. 35 patients participated in this I study. The patients have been submitted to the following exams: Audiometry and Impedanciometry. In this study , the incidence of hearing loss in patients who have taken blood dialyses was in 71% of them. It was found neurossensorial hearing loss of mild degree in 19 (27%) among the ears with alteration and 6 (8.5%) with neurossensorial hearing of moderate degree. Among these alterations 5 (14%) from the patients presented unilateral loss and 10 (29%) of bilateral loss. On the research of the Acoustic Stapedial Reflex, 10 (29%) patients presented absent in the pathway ipsi and contralateral bilaterally, 2 (6%) didn ́t present Acoustic Stapedi al Reflex in the pathway ipsi and contralateral, but in 4KHz contralateral bilaterally.
