A Insuficiência Renal é uma patologia, onde os rins não conseguem remover os resíduos metabólicos do corpo, deixando de realizar funções reguladoras. O tratamento da IR tem como objetivo corrigir a sintomatologia específica, e consiste como forma de tratamento a diálise e hemodiálise. O presente estudo foi desenvolvido com pacientes submetidos ao tratamento hemodialítico, tendo como objetivo: Analisar o cotidiano das pessoas que utilizam hemodiálise; Verificar alterações ocorridas no cotidiano deste paciente; Identificar sentimentos relacionados ao tratamento. Os dados foram coletados junto aos pacientes submetidos à hemodiálise por meio de entrevista com questões abertas. A amostra deste estudo foi composta por 10 pacientes submetidos à hemodiálise ambulatorial, maiores de 18 anos, cujo tempo de tratamento seja maior ou igual ao período de 1 ano. Os depoimentos foram coletados nos domicílios dos sujeitos do estudo, gravados e transcritos. A análise dos dados foi desenvolvida segundo Bardin (1977) , tendo como unidades temáticas a restrição alimentar, o isolamento social, dependência, a resignação, depressão, medo e esperança. Pode-se observar que estes pacientes ficam restritos ao tratamento, distantes de qualquer atividade de lazer, vale ressaltar, a necessidade de incluir o paciente renal novamente na sociedade, contribuindo para uma melhora na qualidade de vida do mesmo.

The kidney insufficient is a condition where the kidneys fail to remove metabolic wastes from the body, leaving to perform regulatory functions. Treatment of kidney insufficient have a objective to correct specific symptoms, and as a treatment is dialysis and hemodialysis. This study was conducted with patients undergoing hemodialysis, with the goal: To analyze the daily lives of people who use hemodialysis; Check daily changes in this patient; Identify feelings related to treatment. The informations were collected from the patients undergoing hemodialysis through interviews with open questions. The study sample consisted of 10 patients submitted the outpatients hemodialysis, over 18, whose treatment time is greater than or equal to 1 year. The testimonies were collected at the homes of study subjects, recorded and transcribed. The informations analysis was carried out according to Bardin, with the thematic units the alimentary restriction, social isolation, dependency, resignation, depression, fear and hope. It can be observed that these patients are restricted to treatment, away from any recreational activity, it is worth emphasizing the need to include the renal patient back into society, contributing to an improved quality of life of the same.
