Este artigo é resultado de estudos referentes aos conflitos raciais existentes nas universidades públicas. O objetivo deste trabalho é refletir sobre a atuação dos coletivos negros e antirracistas da Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) nos conflitos raciais, que envolvem estudantes negros(as), relacionados ao contexto da implementação das ações afirmativas, durante os anos de 2017 a 2019. Na pesquisa, foram analisados relatos de conflitos na UFF, envolvendo estudantes negros(as), obedecendo à seguinte sistematização: 1) conflitos de sujeitos negros(as) pertencentes ao corpo discente; 2) conflitos entre estudantes negros(as) e docentes; e 3) conflitos entre estudantes negros(as) e a administração universitária. Do ponto de vista metodológico, o trabalho se orienta, fundamentalmente, por uma abordagem qualitativa que se relaciona a dados quantitativos coletados durante a realização da pesquisa. Concluímos que os embates aqui retratados reafirmam o que a literatura tem discutido a respeito dos conflitos étnico-raciais.

This article is the result of studies referring toracial conflicts existing in public universities. The objective of this work is to reflect on the performance of black and anti-racist collectives at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) in racial conflicts, involving black students, related to the context of the implementation of affirmative actions, during the years 2017 to 2019. In the research, reports of conflicts at the UFF, involving black students, were analyzed, following the following systematization: 1) conflicts of black subjects belonging to the student body; 2) conflicts between black students and teachers; and 3) conflicts between black students and university administration. From a methodological point of view, the work is fundamentally guided by a qualitative approach that relates to quantitative data collected during the research. We conclude that the clashes portrayed here reaffirm what the literature has discussed about ethnic-racial conflicts.
