O USO DA LINGUAGEM NA INTERAÇÃO ENTRE ATENDENTES E USUÁRIOS DE UMA BIBLIOTECA ESCOLAR

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o uso da linguagem pelos atendentes de uma biblioteca escolar quando da interação com seus usuários. Considerando o caráter social e contextual da linguagem, a pesquisa fundamenta-se em pressupostos acerca das linguagens contextualmente situadas, bem como da Sociolinguística Interacional. Por meio de gravações em áudio, analisamos, qualitativamente, doze eventos de interação entre usuários e seis atendentes da biblioteca do Colégio Municipal Pelotense-Pelotas/RS, visando identificar de que forma os atendentes utilizam a linguagem para interagir com os usuários e, assim, atribuírem significados às necessidades deles. Resultados evidenciam que os atendentes tendem a compartilhar as pistas de contextualização fornecidas pelos usuários e situar a linguagem a dos usuários, tornando a interação benéfica entre eles.

The aim of this work is to analyze the uses of (non) specialized languages by school library
clerks when interacting with their users. The theoretical approaches are based on the social and
contextual character of languages uses. Across audio recordings, were analyzed twelve episodes of
interaction between users and six library clerks of a public school in the city of Pelotas/RS, aiming at
identifying the uses of languages by library clerks when interacting with these users and, thus, serving
their interests when approaching the Library attendance service. Results show that the library clerks
share languages supplied by users. However, gaps in the identities of these library clerks point to the
need for more critical and meaningful interactions into school library.
