Esta pesquisa irá analisar os conceitos de Letramento, resgatando historicamente a criação de tal termo, trazendo-o para a realidade atual, a qual é claramente influenciada pelo uso de novas tecnologias, modificando os próprios conceitos de práticas de letramento. Pensando nisso, percebe-se que é muito comum questionamentos acerca da leitura e da escrita nesse contexto tecnológico. Com o objetivo de verificar empiricamente se há práticas de letramento na internet, este artigo se valerá da rede social Skoob.com.br, destinada somente ao público leitor. Além de entender o funcionamento e todas as ferramentas que podem ser utilizadas em tal ambiente, analisará, ainda, como são classificadas as obras literárias indicadas para o vestibular da Universidade Estadual de Maringá, tendo em vista que, na maioria das vezes, são esses os livros adotados nas escolas. Conclui que há, sim, práticas de letramento, ou seja, de leitura e escrita no ambiente virtual.
This research will analyze the concepts of Literature, rescuing historically the creation of such term, bringing it to the current reality, which is clearly influenced by the use of new technologies, modifying the concepts of literacy practices themselves. Thinking about this, we can see that it is very common questions about reading and writing in this technological context. In order to verify empirically if there are literacy practices on the Internet, this article will use the social networkSkoob.com.br, aimed only at the readership. In addition to understanding the functioning and all the tools that can be used in such an environment, it will also analyze how the literary works indicated for the university entrance examination of the State University of Maringá are classified, considering that, in most cases, these are the books adopted in schools. It concludes that there are, yes, practices of literacy, that is, of reading and writing in the virtual environment.
