O PERFIL NUTRICIONAL DE ESCOLARES DE 6 a 10 ANOS DA REDE MUNICIPAL DA SEDE DE MUCAJAÍ – RORAIMA – BRASIL

O objetivo do estudo foi identificar o Estado Nutricional de escolares de 06 a 10 anos da rede
Municipal da Sede de Mucajaí-RR. Participaram 283 crianças (127 meninos e 156 meninas). A avaliação do estado nutricional foi realizada segundo os critérios de Warterlow (1976) empregando o padrão de referência do NCHS, por meio do software PED 2000. Para tanto, utilizou-se da estatística descritiva, distribuição em percentis e frequências. De acordo com as evidencias encontradas no presente estudo, percebe-se que os índices sobressaem para a prevalência de desnutrição (desnutrido crônico, desnutrido pregresso, desnutrido atual, 46,29%) sendo mais de quatro vezes superior a prevalência do excesso de peso (sobrepeso, obeso, grande obeso, 10,24%), e para o eutrofismo (43,46%). Quanto ao gênero, Verificou-se maior proporção de desnutrição no sexo feminino (47,44% vs 44,88%), excesso de peso mais elevado também no sexo feminino (13,46% vs 6,30%) e maior adequação nutricional no sexo masculino (48,82% vs 39,10%). Quanto ao gênero e idade, as evidências encontradas, apontam que a maior proporção de desnutridos encontra-se no sexo masculino na idade de 07 anos (56,26%), de excesso de peso no sexo
feminino na idade de 9 anos (20,51%) e de eutróficos no sexo masculino na idade de 6 anos (68,00%). A partir do exposto conclui-se que os escolares da rede municipal da Sede de Mucajaí-RR, não estão em processo de transição nutricional como em todo país no que tange o binômio desnutrição-obesidade.

The aim of the study was to identify the nutritional status of school children 06-10 years of the
Municipal Network Headquarters Mucajaí - RR. Participants 283 children (127 boys and 156 girls) . The assessment of nutritional status was evaluated according to the criteria of Warterlow (1976) employing the standard the NCHS through the PED 2000 software . For this, we used descriptive statistics , percentile distribution and frequencies . According to the evidence found in this study , it is noticed that the indexes stand for the prevalence of stunting (chronic undernutrition , previous underfed , malnourished current , 46.29 % ) was more than four times the prevalence of overweight (overweight , obese , big obese, 10.24 % ) , and the eutrofismo (43.46 % . Regarding gender, a greater proportion of undernutrition in females (47.44 % vs 44.88 %) , excess weight also higher in females (13.46 % vs 6.30%) and higher nutritional adequacy is verified in males (48.82 % vs. 39.10%) . The gender and age , the evidence found , show that the highest proportion of undernourished is in males at the age of 07 years (56.26 %) of overweight in females at the age of 9 years (20,51 %) and normal weight males at the age of 6 years (68.00%) . From the foregoing it is concluded that the students from the municipal headquarters of Mucajaí - RR, are not in the nutritional transition process as in any country regarding the binomial malnutrition-obesity.
