O artigo tem por objetivo analisar a composição da renda e das despesas dos agentes e o comportamento do mercado de trabalho formal na região Nordeste do Brasil, para a década de 2000, mostrando a heterogeneidade na composição da renda, na distribuição das despesas e no comportamento dos salários dos agentes quando analisados de forma regionalizada. Essa análise permite uma melhor percepção da importância da renda oriunda do trabalho, principalmente o salário do indivíduo empregado que compõe a maior parte do rendimento familiar, evidenciando a grande influência exercida pelo mercado de trabalho na composição da renda e na estrutura do consumo dos agentes. Com isso, o presente trabalho busca compreender as características dos rendimentos e das despesas dos agentes que, em grande medida, é um reflexo da estrutura salarial existente no Nordeste em detrimento das demais regiões do país.

This article aims to analyze the composition of the income and expenses of agents and the behavior of the formal labor market in northeastern Brazil for some years of the 2000s, showing the heterogeneity in income, the distribution of costs and wage behavior of agents when analyzed by region. This analysis allows a better understanding of the importance of the income f4rom work, especially the individual employee's salary that makes up most of the family income, showing the great influence exerted by the labor market in the composition of income and the consumption structure of agents. Thus, the present study attempts to understand the characteristics of the income and expenses of agents, largely reflects the existing salary structure in the northeast at the expense of the other regions of the country.
