O presente artigo tem como foco investigar as relações de gênero no curso de licenciatura em Física, abordando os principais desafios enfrentados pelas discentes. Esse estudo foi motivado pela relação desproporcional, entre homens e mulheres, dentre os professores de Física no Brasil. Essa disparidade pode ser atribuída inúmeros de fatores, incluindo a conjuntura das relações entre formação acadêmica e gênero e as situações indesejadas vivenciadas durante o curso superior, ocasionando baixa confiança no potencial de aprendizado e consequentemente baixo desempenho acadêmico. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa, desenvolvida através de análise bibliográfica, bem como a aplicação de um questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas, com as discentes do curso de licenciatura em Física do Instituto Federal do Tocantins (IFTO), no primeiro semestre de 2018. O resultado desta pesquisa infere que as questões de gênero ainda são obstáculos significativos para a formação das futuras professoras de Física.

This article focuses on investigating gender relations in the Physics Degree course, addressing the main challenges faced by students. This study was motivated by the disproportionate relationship between men and women among physics teachers in Brazil. This disparity can be attributed to a number of factors, including the conjuncture of the relations between academic background and gender and the unwanted situations experienced during higher education, causing low confidence in the learning potential and consequently low academic performance. To this end, a qualitative and quantitative research was conducted, developed through bibliographic analysis, as well as the application of a questionnaire with open and closed questions, with the students of the undergraduate course in Physics of the Federal Institute of Tocantins (IFTO), in the first The result of this research infers that gender issues are still significant obstacles to the formation of future teachers of physics.
