Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar uma possível forma de compatibilizar a teoria do direito de Ronald Dworkin, especialmente à vista de sua concepção de direitos como trunfos e do direito como integridade e a teoria dos direitos fundamentais com a de Robert Alexy, que trata da ponderação. Para isso, desenvolverá pontos fundamentais vistos como incompatíveis entre ambas as teorias, procurará desfazer preconcepções que contaminam o debate e mostrará os limites da compatibilização que propõe.

This essay aims to present a possible way to make compatible the theory of law developed by Ronald Dworkin, especially in the light of his conception of rights as trumps and law as integrity, and the theory of the fundamental rights developed by Robert Alexy, which regards the weighing of principles. In order to do this, it will develop key aspects seen as incompatible between the two theories, as well as unmake certain preconceptions which have been contaminating the debate and will show the limits of the argument for making both theories compatible, which is proposed.
