MÚSICA NO COTIDIANO DE PESSOAS SURDAS: DESAFIOS E POSSIBILIDADES PARA O TRABALHO DO EDUCADOR MUSICAL E MUSICOTERAPEUTA

- Pessoas surdas, historicamente, sofreram e sofrem exclusão educacional, social e cultural em nossa sociedade. Em contrapartida a comunidade surda mostra empenho na construção de conhecimento, nas discussões sobre as singularidades culturais, artísticas e didáticas que envolvem esse grupo. Pensando nisso, o objetivo da pesquisa foi investigar a importância da música no cotidiano das pessoas surdas. Para isso, foi aplicado um questionário, com perguntas abertas e fechadas utilizando a ferramenta Google Forms. O trabalho foi submetido e aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética/Plataforma Brasil e pode ser localizado através do número CAAE 80787617.0.0000.0094. O público alvo foram pessoas surdas maiores de 18 anos que concordaram com o termo de consentimento livre e esclarecido (TCLE). Foram computadas e analisadas 47 respostas ao questionário. A partir de uma reflexão dos resultados da pesquisa, conclui-se a necessidade de elaborar e adaptar métodos e técnicas da musicoterapia e educação musical que enfatizem as preferências e formas de vivenciar música pontuadas pelos participantes. E, dessa forma, instrumentalizar musicoterapeutas e educadores musicais, para atender pessoas surdas, proporcionando uma melhor relação desse sujeito com a música e sua inserção na sociedade

Deaf people, historically, suffer an educational, social and cultural exclusion in our society. On the other hand, the deaf community shows commitment in the construction of knowledge, in the discussions about the cultural, artistic and didactic singularities that involve this group. With this in mind, the aim of the research was to investigate the importance of music in the daily lives of deaf people. For this, a questionnaire was applied, with open and closed questions using the Google Forms tool. The work was submitted to and approved by the Ethics Committee / Plataforma Brasil and can be found at 80787617.0.0000.0094. The target audience was deaf people over 18 years of age who agreed with the informed consent form. 47 responses were computed and analyzed. Based on a reflection of the research results, can be noticed the need to elaborate and adapt methods and techniques of music therapy and education music, which emphasize the preferences and ways of experiencing music punctuated by the participants. And, in this way, instrumentalize music therapists and music educators, to attend deaf people, providing a better relationship between this subject and music and their insertion in society.
