What is the logic of a teenager when he assaults or kills a person? The so-called criminal seeks to construct his identity and, before committing the criminal act, his real situation was that of a victim. Conversely, the victim is presented to him as the perpetrator. The criminal is denied his identity as a victim. He then becomes a marginalized person. Hence the reaction to marginalization and the blaming. The motives for violent actions result from the search for immediate results; intolerance and frustration; the certainty, or rather, the fantasy of impunity; and, finally, the redemption from poverty, through the redistribution of income.
