Este artigo tem como objetivo descrever o trabalho realizado na instituição de acolhimento L.A.R.A., localizada no município de Campos dos Goytacazes, caracterizando-o e justificando a importância do trabalho realizado no local, focalizando no aspecto interdisciplinar que compõe a equipe técnica da unidade de acolhimento. Explicita-se as atribuições de assistentes sociais, psicólogos/as, pedagogos/as e enfermeiros/as neste tipo de instituição e se realiza entrevistas com esses profissionais a fim de demonstrar que a interdisciplinaridade é dispensável nas atividades realizadas pela equipe técnica do acolhimento, seja na atuação direta com os acolhidos ou na troca de informações entre técnicos.

This article aims to describe the work carried out in the host institution L.A.R.A., located in the municipality of Campos dos Goytacazes, characterizing it and justifying the importance of the work carried out in the place, focusing on the interdisciplinary aspect that makes up the technical team of the host unit. The functions of social workers, psychologists, pedagogues and nurses in this type of institution are explained and interviews are conducted with these professionals to demonstrate that interdisciplinarity is necessary in the functions performed by the technical staff of the host, either in the direct action with the host or in the exchange of information between technicians.
