O artigo apresenta o texto daConferência realizada no 17º Congresso Mundial de Musicoterapia, em Vancouver, Canadá, no dia 28 de julho de 2023. O trabalho apresentado, intitulado “Inclusion in Music Therapy: Challenges and News Perspectives”, tratou a respeito da formulação e implementação de políticas nacionais para o reconhecimento do trabalho do musicoterapeuta no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) e no SistemaÚnicode Assistência Social (SUAS) e políticas institucionais que promovem a inclusão de participantes em atendimentos de musicoterapia e de estudantes na UniversidadeEstadual do Paraná (UNESPAR). Outros aspectos abordados foram a respeito do trabalho dos Centros de Educação em Direitos Humanos da Unespar (CEDH) e seus Núcleos: NERA (Núcleo de Relações Étnico-Raciais), NERG (Núcleo de Relações de Gênero) e NESPI (Núcleo de Educação Especial e Inclusiva), a metodologia do "Grupo aberto em Musicoterapia", implementado pela Profa. Dra. RosemyriamCunha e o trabalho realizado no Centro de Atendimentos e Pesquisa em Musicoterapia “Clotilde Leinig”.
The text presents the conference held at the 17th World Congress of Music Therapy in Vancouver, Canada, on July 28, 2023. The presented work, titled "Inclusion in Music Therapy: Challenges and New Perspectives," addressed the formulation and implementation of national policies for the recognition of music therapists' work in the Unified Health System (SUS) and the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS), as well as institutional policies promoting the inclusion of participants in music therapy sessions and students in the university. Other aspects discussed included the work of the Human Rights Education Centers at Unespar (CEDH) and their nuclei: NERA (Nucleus of Ethnic-Racial Relations), NERG (Nucleus of Gender Relations), and NESPI (Nucleus of Special and Inclusive Education), the methodology of the "Open Group in Music Therapy" implemented by Prof. Dr. Rosemyriam Cunha, and the work carried out at the Music Therapy Care and Research Center "Clotilde Leinig."
