O ensino de História no Ensino Fundamental e Médio vem sendo objeto de discussão nos últimos anos, uma vez que ainda há um certo distanciamento entre a História produzida na Academia e a História ensinada nas escolas. Além disto, o ensino deve prover, conforme aponta a Constituição Federal de 1988, a formação cidadã para o educando. E entendendo ser cidadão como alguém que participa diretamente para a manutenção e o desenvolvimento do local onde vive, cumprindo seus deveres e cobrando seus direitos, é inevitável associar o assunto cidadania do assunto polÃtica. Assim, a ideia deste artigo é fazer uma breve reflexão sobre como a polÃtica é entendida dentro da historiografia, e seus desdobramentos na Educação e no ensino de História.
The History teaching in the Elementary and High School has been the object of
discussion in the last years, since there is a detachment between the History produced in the
College and the History taught in the schools. Furthermore, the education should provide,
according the 1988 Federal Constitution, the civic education to the students. The citizen must
be understood like someone that contribute for the preservation and the development of the
own town, fulfilling their duties and demanding their rights. It is impossible to separate
citizenship and policy. So, the idea of this paper is to reflect about how the policy is
understood inside in historiography, and its deployments in the Education and the History
teaching.
