A renda irlandesa representa um dos patrimônios imateriais do Brasil, na qual se perpetua a construção dos conhecimentos e práticas sobre a produção das rendeiras assegurando a existência desse importante patrimônio. O centro de desenvolvimento dessa renda localiza-se na cidade de Divina Pastora (SE), região turística do polo dos tabuleiros, que ficou conhecida pela peregrinação ao Santuário de Divina Pastora e pela produção de renda irlandesa, à qual é considerada um dos produtos artesanais mais requintados e remotos de Sergipe. Sendo um produto do ecoturismo, no entanto reconhece-se a necessidade de um suporte maior por parte das instituições não governamentais e governamentais, bem como das associações para que seja possível promover o crescimento local e turístico do município e do estado.

Irish income represents one of Brazil's immaterial heritage, in which the construction of knowledge and practices on the production of lace makers is perpetuated, ensuring the existence of this important heritage. The center for the development of this income is located in the city of Divina Pastora (SE), a tourist region of the pole of the board, which became known for its pilgrimage to the Divina Pastora Sanctuary and for the production of Irish lace, which is considered one of the artisanal products most exquisite and remote of Sergipe. As a product of ecotourism, however, the need for greater support from non-governmental and governmental institutions, as well as from associations, is recognized in order to promote local and tourist growth in the municipality and state.
