FILME “PANTERA NEGRA”: A REPRESENTAÇÃO POSITIVA NO CINEMA PARA O ENSINO DE HISTÓRIA DA ÁFRICA

Cinematografia é uma forma de linguagem e por isso é carregado de discurso, faz parte de uma ideologia e possui um objetivo. Quando analisamos o cinema, percebemos que o personagem negro e o continente África muitas vezes (quase sempre) é representado de maneira estereotipada. Dessa maneira, produções como o filme Pantera Negra (Black Panther, 2018) que rompem com esse panorama são tão importantes e podem ser usados na sala de aula como instrumento pedagógico. O presente estudo possui como objetivo analisar o filme Pantera Negra para assim mostrar como o uso deste em sala de aula pode contribuir para o ensino de história da África em conformidade com a Lei 10.639/2003. Para auferir tal objetivo utilizamos como referencial teórico: Napolitano (2003) Souza (2011) e Bittencourt (2004; 2008), além do próprio filme e a Lei 10.639/2003. A metodologia utilizada é de cunho qualitativo, baseado nos três elementos de análise de filmes citados por Napolitano (2003). Assim, chegamos à conclusão de que o presente filme pode ser uma maneira positiva de representação do continente africano, uma vez que rompe com os modelos de filmes da indústria ao valorizar a África e sua história por isso deve ser usado na sala de aula no ensino de História da África com finalidade educativa, efetivando também a Lei 10.639/2003.

Cinematography is a form of language and for that reason it is loaded with discourse, it is part of an ideology and has an objective. When we analyze cinema, we realize that the black character and the African Continent often (almost always) represent these in a stereotyped manner. Thus, productions such as the film Black Panther (2018) that break with this panorama are so important and can be used in the classroom as a pedagogical instrument. The present study is the result of the discipline of Historical Research I and II of the History Degree course at the Federal University of Acre – Ufac, and have as objective to analyze the film Black Panther to show how the use in the classroom can contribute to teaching African history in accordance with Law 10.639/2003. To achieve this objective, we used the consecutive theoretical framework: Napolitano (2003) Souza (2011) and Bittencourt (2004; 2008), the film itself and the Law 10.639/2003. The metodology used is of a qualitative nature, based on the three elements of analysis of films mentioned by Napolitano (2003). Thus, we came to the conclusion that the present film can be a positive way of representing the African continente, since it breaks whit the film models of the industry by prize Africa and its history so it should be used in the classroom in teaching History of Africa for educational purposes, also make Law 10.639/2003 effective.
