FACEBOOK INSIGHTS: UMA ESTRATÉGIA PARA O ENSINO DE ESTATÍSTICA

Resumo Português:

Este artigo apresenta os resultados da investigação sobre a viabilidade do uso da ferramenta Facebook Insights no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem dos conteúdos de leitura e interpretação de gráficos estatísticos. A escolha dessa ferramenta se deu por ela estar inserida em um contexto cujo alunos detêm familiaridade e domínio, já que utilizam o Facebook no dia a dia, favorecendo o seu manuseio e despertando o interesse dos alunos. Metodologicamente, o trabalho foi realizado a partir da base da pesquisa-ação, por meio de aplicação de aula temática e atividades práticas com os alunos envolvendo o uso da ferramenta. Os resultados demonstraram a importância da ferramenta como instrumento motivador do estudo e facilitador do aprendizado dos conteúdos abordados, revelando também os desafios metodológicos e práticos para a utilização de ferramentas digitais no processo de ensino-aprendizagem .

This article presents the results of the research on the feasibility of using the Facebook Insights tool in the teaching-learning process of the contents of reading and interpreting statistical graphs. The choice of this tool was made because it is inserted in a context whose students have familiarity and mastery, since they use Facebook in the day to day, favoring their handling and arousing the interest of the students. Methodologically, the work was carried out from the basis of the action research, through the application of thematic classes and practical act ivities with the students involving the use of the tool.The results showed the importance of the tool as a motivator of the study and facilitator of the learning of the contents addressed, also revealing the methodological and practical challenges for the use of digital tools in the process of Teaching and learning.
