Neste estudo objetiva-se investigar alguns procedimentos metaficcionais empregados na construção do romance O sol se põe em São Paulo, de Bernardo Carvalho (2007), dentre os quais, a configuração de um personagem-escritor. A metodologia contempla os estudos teórico-críticos formulados por Hutcheon (1984), Lepaludier (2002), Faria (2012), Resende (2008), Carneiro (2005), Santiago (2002), dentre outros. Esperamos que as discussões contribuam com as provocações sobre o estético, o político/ideológico e estabeleçam um princípio de diálogo com outras obras da série literária brasileira contemporânea que também colocam em cena os meandros do próprio fazer ficcional.
In this study we aim to investigate some metafictional procedures used in the construction of the novel O sol se põe em São Paulo, by Bernardo Carvalho (2007), among which, the configuration of a character-writer. The methodology considers the theoretical-critical studies formulated by Hutcheon (1984), Lepaludier (2002), Faria (2012), Resende (2008), Carneiro (2005), Santiago (2002), among others. We hope that the discussions contribute to the provocations about the aesthetic, the political/ideological and establish a principle of dialogue with other works of the contemporary Brazilian literary series that also put on the scene the create fiction as well.
