DESEMPENHO DO CONSÓRCIO CEBOLINHA-RABANETE, SOB MANEJO ORGÂNICO

Avaliou-se o desempenho do consórcio entre cebolinha comum (Allium fistulosum L.) e o rabanete
(Raphanus sativus L.), sob manejo orgânico. O trabalho foi desenvolvido na horta da Vila Educacional de Meninas, em
Diamantina-MG, no período de 14/03 a 17/04/2008. Utilizou-se o delineamento experimental de blocos casualizados, com
quatro repetições. A análise estatística foi realizada isoladamente para cada espécie nos tratamentos, cultivo solteiro e
consorciado. Na cebolinha avaliou-se a massa fresca total (g planta-1), massa fresca dos perfilhos (g planta-1), diâmetro do
pseudocaule (cm), número e comprimento dos perfilhos, e número de maços. No rabanete realizou-se avaliações da massa
fresca total (g planta-1), massa fresca da raiz (g planta-1) e diâmetro da raiz (cm). Os resultados mostraram não haver
diferença significativa na produtividade da cebolinha ou rabanete, independente do manejo, solteiro ou consorciado. O
Índice de Equivalência de Área (IEA) alcançou valor de 1,76, significando que o consórcio foi mais eficiente do que o
monocultivo. Conclui-se a viabilidade do consórcio de cebolinha e rabanete na otimização na produtividade com melhor
eficiência na utilização da área.

The objective was to evaluate the performance of the consortium between bunching onion
(Allium fistulosum, L.) and radish (Raphanus sativus L), under organic management. The work was developed in the
garden of Education of Girls Town, in Diamantina-MG in the period from 14/03 to 17/04/2008. Used to the experimental
design of randomized blocks, with four repetitions. The statistical analysis was done separately for each species in two
treatments, cultivation cropping and intercropping. In bunching onion assessed whether total fresh mass (g plant-1), fresh
weight of tillers (g plant-1), diameter of pseudostem (cm), number and length of the tiller, and number of packets. In radish
evaluations were fresh mass total (g plant-1), fresh weight of the root (g plant-1) and diameter of the root (cm). The results
showed no significant difference related to the productivity of bunching onion or radish, regardless of the type of
management, unmarried or syndication. The Index of Equivalence Area (IEA) has reached 1,76, meaning that the
consortium was effective. It is the viability of the intercropping of bunching onion and radish optimize productivity with
better efficiency in the use of the area.
