Theoretical texts on distributional morphology help us see that there is more than lexicality in morphology and that it also falls within the syntactic domain. On the other hand, moving away from Lexicalism is quite complex. The many distinct senses in which the term "lexical" is used have produced no small amount of confusion. Seeking to understand concepts and ideas of distributional morphology, our study group analyzed three texts on what the theory claims about the status of different types of information in words. We conducted three critical summaries for the texts. The summaries were structured with: 1. presentation of the general purpose of the text; 2. data dealt with in the text; 3. analysis of the text; 4. criticism; and finally 5. summary and consecutive recommendations. The texts analyzed were, in that order, "Syntactic decomposition and categorizers" by PANAGIOTIDIS, Phoevos (2015), "The location of gender features in the syntax" by KRAMER, Ruth (2016), and "Theme Vowels Are Verbs" by FÁBREGAS, Antonio (2017).
