Considerações acerca do relacionamento abusivo e uma análise das contingências que o envolvem

Relacionamento abusivo é um tipo de relacionamento em que uma das partes exerce poder sobre a outra. Com base em estatísticas de órgãos mundiais, como Organização Mundial da Saúde e a Organização das Nações Unidas, há um maior número de mulheres em sofrimento em relação a homens neste tipo de relacionamento, o qual pode ainda ser entendido como um estágio inicial para a violência doméstica. Este artigo discorre sobre algumas das características que envolvem a relação abusiva, qual o contexto que propicia o desenvolvimento desse tipo de relação, e ainda as contingências que mantêm as vítimas no relacionamento, sob a perspectiva analítico comportamental. Descreve essas contingências e sugere para que a comunidade dentro e fora da Análise do Comportamento se atente às situações de violência e as que podem vir a se tornar violentas, para que as vítimas envolvidas tenham apoio e orientação para sair desses relacionamentos.

An abusive relationship is a type of relationship in which one party exercises power over the other. Based on statistics from global bodies, such as the World Health Organization and the United Nations, there is a greater number of women suffering in this type of relationship in relation to men, which can still be understood as an initial stage for violence domestic. This article discusses some of the characteristics that involve the abusive relationship, the context that allows the development of this type of relationship, and the contingencies that keep the victims in the relationship, from a behavioral analytical perspective. The objective is to describe these contingencies so that the community inside and outside the Behavior Analysis is aware of situations of violence and those that may become violent, so that the victims involved have support and guidance to get out of these relationships.
