Neste trabalho discute-se os principais resultados encontrados a partir da realização de uma revisão sistemática de literatura sobre clube de ciências. A revisão foi conduzida de acordo com as etapas metodológicas preconizadas por Khan, Kunz e Kleijnen (2003) e visa identificar e compreender as características das produções envolvendo os clubes de ciências. A fonte de busca foi a Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações, resultando, após uma análise preliminar, em um corpus de pesquisa constituído por 15 dissertações e 2 teses. Como resultados que emergiram da análise das produções inventariadas destaca-se que a maioria dos participantes das pesquisas são estudantes da educação básica, principalmente dos anos finais do ensino fundamental e do ensino médio. Algumas produções objetivavam avaliar se as ações realizadas nos clubes de ciências contribuíam para o desenvolvimento da alfabetização científica (quatro trabalhos). Outros trabalhos visavam analisar atividades investigativas e/ou interdisciplinares (nove trabalhos) ou ainda avaliar produtos educacionais aplicados nesses espaços não formais de educação (5 trabalhos). Em geral, os trabalhos sugerem que os clubes de ciências contribuem para o desenvolvimento de uma cultura científica escolar e suprem a falta de estrutura e de tempo curricular dos professores no que diz respeito ao desenvolvimento de atividades experimentais em aulas regulares.

This paper discusses the main results obtained from a systematic review of literature on science clubs. The survey was conducted according to the methodological steps recommended by Khan, Kunz and Kleijnen (2003) and aimed to identify and understand the characteristics of this kind of literature. The search was sourced from the Bibioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações (Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations) and resulted, after a preliminary analysis, in a corpus of research consisting of 15 dissertations and 2 theses from which stands out the fact that most of the research participants are mainly higher grade elementary school students and high schoolers. Some papers aimed to evaluate whether the actions taken in science clubs contributed to the development of scientific literacy (four works). Some others intended to analyze investigative and/or interdisciplinary activities (nine works) and also evaluate educational products applied in these non-formal educational spaces (five works). Generally speaking, the dissertations and theses suggest that science clubs contribute to the development of a school scientific culture and offset a lack of structure and curricular time for teachers when it comes to developing experimental activities in regular classes.
