O presente trabalho tem como objeto a análise da efetividade da Medida Socioeducativa de Internação aplicadas no Centro Socioeducativo de Palmas (CASE) aos adolescentes em conflito com a lei, compreendidas nos anos de 2009 a 2013, em face da reiteração infracional. Nesta pesquisa, realiza-se uma abordagem quantitativa através da coleta de dados no CASE de Palmas, bem como da avaliação dos processos judiciais de apuração de atos infracionais sentenciados existentes no Juizado da Infância e Juventude da capital. Analisa-se o panorama nacional e local dos infratores, realizando-se uma comparação das realidades apresentadas, sendo a problemática exposta desta forma com o fito de se desenhar o quadro local de reiteração infracional à luz do Sistema Nacional de Atendimento Socioeducativo, não tendo, no entanto, a finalidade de explanar sobre os motivos ensejadores da delinquência juvenil. Mas ao final, anunciar a apuração do principal resultado da pesquisa realizada, qual seja, a elevada taxa de reiteração, revelando a inefetividade da aplicação das medidas socioeducativas em meio fechado, de modo a buscar direcionaras ações do Sistema de Proteção à criança e ao adolescente na capital do Estado do Tocantins.

The present paper has as object of analysis the effectiveness of Socio-educational Measure Reclusion applied at Palmas-Tocantins' Socio-educational Center (CASE in portuguese abbreviation) to adolescents in conflict with the law, comprehended in between the years of 2009 and 2013, due to the infractional reiteration. In this research, a quantitative approach is perfomed through data collection at Palmas’ CASE, as well the evaluation of existing sentenced investigation of infractional lawsuits’ acts at the capital’s Youth Court. It analyzes the national and local panorama of offenders, carrying out a comparison of the presented realities, as the problematic is exposed in this way with the aim of drawing a local frame of reiteration infraction in the light of the National Socioeducational Service System, not having, however, the intend to explain about the reasons of juvenile delinquence. But at the end, to announce the research’s main results, ie, high reiteration rate, revealing the ineffectiveness of the socioeducational implementation measures within an enclosed environment, in order to seek to direct child and youth protection system’s actions in Tocantins’ state capital.
