Pretende-se expor no presente artigo, em linhas gerais, a relação entre as mudanças tecnológicas que têm subsidiado os aparatos de segurança pública no Brasil, nas últimas duas décadas do século XXI, no âmbito do Governo Federal. Ainda que a eugenia não seja mencionada, principalmente depois do declínio do nazismo, muitas práticas eugênicas têm sido efetivadas, mesmo que o seu nome não seja mencionado.
This article aims to present, in general terms, the relationship between the technological changes that have subsidized the public security apparatus in Brazil, in the last two decades of the 21st century, within the scope of the federal government. Although eugenics is not mentioned, especially after the decline of Nazism, many eugenic practices have been carried out, even if its name is not mentioned.
