Botulinum Toxin type A (also known as Botox) is one of the most importante substances in the field of facial rejuvenation, being one of the relevant non -invasive techniques of the present times, and it can avoid the use  of surgical  means.  TB  is  one  produced  by  a  gram - positive  and anaerobic  bacterium  called  Clostridium botulinum that acts on the neurotransmitters, controlling or inhibiting the stimulation of certain functions in the body,  blocking  nervous  signals,  weakening  certain  muscles  so that  they  do  not  contract.  This  form  of  acting  is effective  in  the  solution  of  a  diversity  of  conditions  and  pathologies,  having  several therapeutic  indications. However, the main objective of this work is to perform a descriptive analysis of the theme "Relevant aspects of the use of botulinum toxin in facial aesthetic treatment and its various mechanisms of action". The application of TBA is an increasingly effective treatment of facial dystonias, in which it can block the release of acetylcholine (Ach) at the neuromuscular junction and the peripheral cholinergic synapses, thus causing muscular paralysis. The dose of botulinum toxin used varies according to the extent and strength of the muscle to be treated. The larger the muscle strength or the larger the muscle, the greater the dose to be used. Thus, treatment with TBA toxininjection besides having a high degree of satisfaction also has a low rate of complications or side effects.
