O tema da alimentação recai sobre uma série de estudos, sejam eles culturais, agronômicos, econômicos, políticos ou biológicos. Nesse artigo, buscarei avaliar como se estruturam os sistemas agroalimentares e quais são as alternativas a eles no que se refere à distribuição e consumo de alimentos agroecológicos, ou seja, sem o uso de agrotóxicos e com respeito à dignidade humana e às leis trabalhistas. O recorte territorial é o município de São Paulo, com ênfase na Zona Oeste e as discussões buscam trazer à tona as relações entre política e economia, com a finalidade de avaliar o papel dos atores e do contexto na alimentação da população. As conclusões sugerem que outras perspectivas econômicas alternativas ao capitalismo se configuram como os novos comuns e são a única forma de barrar os novos cercamentos do atual momento do capitalismo.
The subject of food is related to a series of studies, be they cultural, agronomic, economic, political or biological. In this article, I will try to evaluate how the agrifood systems are structured and what are the alternatives to them regarding the distribution and consumption of agroecological foods, that is, without the use of pesticides and with respect to human dignity and labor laws. The territorial focus is the city of São Paulo, with emphasis on the West Zone and the discussions seek to bring out the relations between politics and economy, in order to evaluate the role of actors and context in the population's diet. The findings suggest that other economic perspectives alternative to capitalism are the new commons and are the only way to stop the new enclosures of the present moment of capitalism.
