AFETOS DE IDOSOS EM INTERVENÇÕES URBANAS NO CENTRO DE FORTALEZA/CE

A presente pesquisa objetivou analisar os afetos de idosos no centro da cidade de
Fortaleza/CE. A escolha dos idosos nesse estudo deu-se pelo fato de que eles acompanharam
por mais tempo esse percurso histórico e urbanístico do Centro. Participaram do estudo 60
idosos, sendo que 30 moram no entorno do centro e 30 apenas frequentam esse ambiente
urbano. A referência aos afetos subtende que os mesmos propiciam a implicação dos sujeitos
com algo e tem caráter orientativo em suas condutas, de acordo com o pensamento de
SAWAIA (2011), BOMFIM (2010). Como metodologia para apreensão dos afetos utilizou-se
os Mapas Afetivos, no qual o acesso aos sentimentos dá-se pelos significados e sentidos a
partir da solicitação de um desenho do ambiente. Como resultados, os idosos investigados
elaboraram cinco imagens afetivas do centro da cidade: imagens de Destruição,
Pertencimento (ao passado), Insegurança, Agradabilidade e Contrastes. Percebemos que
muitos idosos resignificaram o Centro que a partir do que vivenciaram nesse lugar em suas
experiências anteriores. As imagens afetivas dos idosos retrataram ora a continuidade, ora a
ruptura entre um presente e um passado da história da cidade de Fortaleza.

This study aimed to analyze the affects of elderly people in the city center of Fortaleza / CE.
The choice of the elderly in this study was due to the fact that they followed for longer this
historical background and the urban center. The study included 60 elderly, and 30 living near
the center and only 30 attending this urban environment. The reference to the affects that
subtends the same foster the involvement of individuals with something and has approximate
character in his conduct, according to the thought of Sawaia (2011), BOMFIM (2010). As
methodology for seizure of affection we used the Affective Maps, which gives access to the
feelings and meanings to the senses from the request of a design environment. As a result, the
subjects of affective developed five images from the city center: Images of Destruction,
Belonging (the past), Insecurity, and Agreeableness contrasts. We realize that many seniors
resignificaram Center that from this place they experienced on their previous experiences. The
affective images of older people portrayed herein continuity, sometimes the split between a
present and a past history of the city of Fortaleza.
