O Conto Tocantinense ‘Nóis Mudemo’ sob a Perspectiva Sociolinguística

Este artigo tem como objetivo confrontar a realidade tradicional que rege a prática de ensino da língua portuguesa apresentado no conto tocantinense “Nóis Mudemo” narrado por Fidêncio Bogo, na obra O quati, com as propostas teórico-metodológicas idealizadas pela Sociolinguística, embasadas por Bortoni-Ricardo, (2004/2005), Antunes (2007), Preti (1987), Bagno (2002) e PCN (1997). O trabalho foi desenvolvido a partir de análise bibliográfica do Conto, fundamentado pelos autores supracitados. A investigação toma como objeto de estudo o fenômeno da discriminação linguística manifestada em sala de aula por uma professora que impõe o mito da homogeneidade linguística no ensino de Língua Portuguesa a um aluno recém-matriculado numa escola de periferia, procedente da zona rural, com distorção idade-série e desfamiliarizado do contexto escolar. Propõe-se nesse artigo um olhar investigativo para a questão da heterogeneidade linguística que cerceia o ensino de língua materna. Nesta perspectiva, o professor deve trabalhar a questão da variação linguística, mostrando a noção de adequação e inadequação, conscientizando seus alunos quanto às diferenças de uso da língua e as escolhas conscientes de seus próprios estilos linguísticos.

This article aims to confront the reality that governs traditional Portuguese teaching practice presented in tocantinense tale "Nóis Mudemo" narrated by Fidencio Bogo in the work O quati, with the theoretical and methodological proposals devised by the Sociolinguistics, supported by Bortoni- Ricardo (2004/2005), Ali (2007), Preti (1987), Bagno (2002) and PCN (1997). The work was developed from literature review tale, founded by the aforementioned authors. The research takes as its object of study the phenomenon of linguistic discrimination manifested in the classroom by a teacher who enforces the myth of linguistic homogeneity in teaching Portuguese to a newly enrolled student at a school in the outskirts, coming from the countryside, with distortion age-grade and unacquainted school context. It is proposed that article an investigative look at the issue of linguistic heterogeneity that curtails the mother tongue teaching. In this perspective, the teacher should work the issue of linguistic variation, showing the concept of adequacy and inadequacy, educating their students about the use of language differences and conscious choices of their own linguistic styles.
