O presente artigo discute a singularidade da escuta psicanalÃtica com mulheres infectadas pelo vÃrus da Aids,
apresentando a especificidade do feminino diante da questão. Considera a importância da feminização da
epidemia nos dias atuais, apontando as conseqüências psÃquicas como o luto após o diagnóstico positivo. A
partir de um fragmento de um caso clÃnico, pretende-se analisar o lugar do feminino na epidemia de HIV.
This article discusses the uniqueness of psychoanalytic listening to women infected with the AIDS virus,
showing the specificity of the feminine face of the matter. Considers the importance of the feminization of
the epidemic today, pointing out the psychological consequences as the mourning after the positive
diagnosis. From a fragment of a clinical case, we intend to analyze the place of the feminine in the HIV
epidemic.
