O CINEMA E AS NARRATIVAS DE CRIANÇAS E JOVENS: REFLEXÕES INICIAIS

O artigo apresenta os “achados” da tese da autora que apontam para a complexidade das narrativas na contemporaneidade, mostrando a freqüente relação das crianças com a imagem, colocando-nos frente ao desafio de entender que, hoje, aprender a ler e a narrar inclui também lidar com os modos como se contam, hoje, as histórias audiovisualmente. Propondo-se a dar continuidade aos estudos realizados no período de Doutoramento de 2005-2009 que investigaram, sob a orientação teórico-metodológica dos Estudos Culturais latino-americanos (Canclini, Martim-Barbero, Gomes), a experiência de crianças com as narrativas em diferentes mídias, a nova proposta de pesquisa tem como principal objetivo olhar mais atentamente para um tipo de narrativa sugerido pelas crianças na pesquisa anterior: as narrativas cinematográficas. A pesquisa que se inicia pretende perceber como crianças e jovens constroem seus modos de relação com o cinema e suas produções narrativas em espaços de formação (escola e universidade) que proporcionam dentro de sua formação momentos de convívio com o pensar e produzir com a linguagem audiovisual. Mantendo-se o diálogo com as orientações teóricas anteriores a autora incorpora o diálogo com um novo autor - Alain Bergala - para discutir as relações entre cinema e educação na dimensão da alteridade buscando perceber a relação vivida com o cinema pelas crianças e jovens nos diferentes contextos escolares num entendimento de que a formação ocorre num processo de apropriação criativa das narrativas cinematográficas.

Resumo Inglês:

The article presents the “findings” of the thesis of the author that aim to the complexity of the contemporary narratives, showing the frequent relation of the children with the image, putting us faced with the challenge to understand that, today, learning to read and to narrate includes also dealing with the ways of how it is told, today, the audiovisual stories. Pretending to continue the study carried out in the Doctoral research from 2005-2009 that investigated, under the theoretical-methodological orientation of the Latin American Cultural Studies (Canclini, Martim-Barbero, Gomez), the experience of the children with the narratives in different media, the new research proposal has the main objective to look more carefully to a type of narrative suggested by the children in the previous research: the cinematographic narratives. The research that it is going to initiate pretends to realize how children and youth construct their ways of relating with the cinema and their narrative productions in formation spaces (school and university) that provided within their formation moments of conviviality with the thought and the production with the audiovisual language. Maintaining the dialogue with the previous theoretical orientation the author incorporates the dialogue with a new author – Alain Bergala – to discuss the relations between the cinema and education in the dimension of the alterity seeking to realize the relation lived with the cinema by the children and youth in different scholastic contexts in an understanding that the formation occurs in a process of creative appropriation from the cinematographic narratives.
