Resumo Português:

A análise do romance O caso Morel de Rubem Fonseca revela, dentre os estudos da estratégia da narrativa, um processo de produção em que o modo de recepção e a forma diegética estão voltados para a metaficcionalidade e autorreflexividade, centradas na participação ativa do leitor enquanto co-autor do texto. Nessa perspectiva, o artigo busca a demonstrar que o caráter metaficcional vai residir na própria criação – romance dentro do romance – e nas manifestações literárias. Logo, a problematização do ato da escrita e o da leitura é estabelecida por um personagem-escritor autoconsciente e pelo caráter metatextual. Desse modo, podemos identificar, segundo Genette, que as relações transtextuais presentes na narrativa fonsequiana surgem com o intuito de refletir sobre a construção do texto dentro do próprio texto ampliando a interrelação entre a realidade e a ficção.

RUBEM FONSECA AND THE METAFICTIONAL NOVEL: STUDIES OF THE CREATIVE PROCESS IN O CASO MOREL – THE MOREL CASE
The analysis of Rubem Fonseca’s novel O Caso Morel – The Morel Case – reveals, among the studies of narrative strategy, a production process in the receiver mode and diegetic form are directed to meta-fictional and self-reflexivity focusing on active reader participation like a co-author of the text. From this perspective, this article seeks to demonstrate that the meta-fictional aspect will lay down in its own creation – a novel within the novel – and its literary manifestations. Therefore, the questions of writing and reading acts are established by a self-conscious writer/reader and by the meta-textuality features. Thus, we can identify, according to Genette, that the relations in Fonseca’s trans-textual narrative arise in order to reflect on the text building within the text itself expanding the inter-relation between reality and fiction.
