Ao se situar no campo da Antropologia, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo discorrer sobre Direitos Humanos e Democracia, em busca de uma compreensão desafiadora do que é a luta pelo “direito a ter direitos”, ao mesmo tempo em que procura a partir do conceito de etnocentrismo, analisar como as negações ao direitos a ter direitos acontece dentro da construção da identidade individual e coletiva dos sujeitos sociais, a partir da ausência de uma política pública de distribuição universalista de riqueza pelo Estado.
In the field of Anthropology, the present work aims to discuss Human Rights and Democracy, in search of a challenging understanding that is the struggle for the "right to have rights", at the same time as it seeks to show based on the concept of ethnocentrism, we analyze how the denials of the rights to have rights happens within the construction of the individual and collective identity of the social subjects from the absence of a public policy of universal distribution of wealth by the State.
